THE Cross River State Police Command has alerted inhabitants in the state to the existence of mobile phone guns that can expose them to danger.

The Police Public Relation Officer, Mr. Etim Dickson, who gave the warning yesterday, said that the gun was heavier than a normal cell phones.

He said members of the public should cooperate with the police in their stop and search duties for the detection of this deadly weapon.

The Police PPRO said: "We want to draw your attention to the existence of mobile phone guns which have the following features, it is heavier than the usual cell phone. It is capable of firing four rounds of .22 calibre of ammunition in quick succession and it uses the phone keypad of 5-8 digits as trigger."

guy, u beta beliv it, i saw it on youtube too, even downloaded the video on how the gun operates, looks like a normal nokia phone with antenna, but it can claim ur life unsuspectingly.
