The Buhari led jánjaweed govt is still going ahead with this travesty. Say what you like but we will defend our lands against the Fulani invaders. If herdsmen really need land for their cattle, they should negotiate with individual landlords following laid down rules of doing such business in each state instead of using federal might to arm twist us
this is why they were clamouring to rule. Would they have brought this up if it was a southerner in govt?

The cause of violence was traced to pressures on land like overgrazing on farmlands. As responsible leaders should, a solution ought to be proffered. Cattle from the North feed the South. The cattle rearers mostly transport their cattle on foot to the South. These cattle have to eat on their way b down South.

Wouldn't it then be unwise to resist the only reasonable solution on the basis of tribalism? If there are no grazing areas delineated for that purpose, wouldn't the violence continue?

Let me give a preview of the bill for people who dont understand or have an idea

The Bill creates a council to be chaired by a Chairman to
be appointed by the president.
The council shall have the power to take your land
anywhere the land is located in the country and then pay
you compensation.
Your land, when taken, shall be assigned to herdsmen
who shall use your land for grazing purposes. They shall
bring cows to the land and you shall lose the land
permanently to those Fulani cattlemen.
If you feel that the council was not right to take your
land, you can go to court but before you go to court,
you must first of all notify the federal attorney general of
your intention to sue the council. Apart from notifying,
you must get the consent and authority of the Federal
Attorney General before you can sue.
So that means that if the Attorney General refuses to
give his consent to the suit, you have lost your land
forever to the herdsmen.
And this law, when passed, shall apply to the whole
country so it means that your land in the village or
anywhere is not safe.
The National Grazing Reserve Council would have the
power to take away your land from you anytime they
want and pay you whatever they want as compensation
(even when you don't want to sell, and remember that
for you to get compensation, you must have documents
showing or proving ownership).
So I think that we all in the South West, South South and
South East must rise up and reject this Bill. We must do
all things to force our national Assembly members from
passing that bill into law.
That bill is a deliberate attempt to take our lands and
hand the land over to the Fulani cattlemen since it is
only the fulanis that rear cattle in Nigeria.
That law, when passed, shall fulfil the directive of
Uthman Dan Fodio and other northern leaders to take
over other parts of Nigeria.
I implore you to use all available means to implore your
senator and Rep not to pass that law.
That law will destroy Nigeria.
All over the world, ranches are established and used to
rear cattle. The farmers buy land and put there cattle
there. There is no country where the land of the citizens
are compulsorily acquired and given to others.
This is evil, and designed to favour the Fulanis where the
president comes from.
We must resist the passage of that bill into law to save
Nigeria, and to protect our future generations -
Please share this with any Nigerian you know. Save our
children's future. Nigeria belong to all of us not to only
certian people. Pray for Nigeria.
And people still want it passed smh for nigerians

Is just like rearing snakes or lions. Someday they will invade ur land after the must have known ur weakness, ur smartness and ur strength.

Let any state who want to consent read d historyy of kwara state.

Its a dangerous quest for any state to embark on.

This is what you get when a ''yoruba slave'' who is from 'NORTH CENTRAL' like Kwara state tries to claim yoruba. Pls have you seen how confused the whole analogy sounds? That's exactly how confused most yorubas sound when they talk.
Muslims kill a yoruba woman preacher in ABJ
You hear o yoruba man from Kwara who is a Christian and married to a Muslim saying Northerners should stop killing christians or Muslims don't like co-existing with Christians.
Once they open their mouth to talk, confusion starts gushing out.
Yorubas and confusion are like JACOB ZUMA's HANDS 5&6

Goodnews, I love the unity of purpose between us and our Niger Delta brothers. We are now united, more than ever before, we swim and sink together! With this unity, the rest of Nigeria cant intimidate us, we will give voice to the Niger Delta resource control agitation as well as regionalism or outright break up. There divide and conquer will never work again! We have allowed ret.ards to control our destiny and we say, never again! Yorubas can give Oyo to their masters as graving reserve but for us, no inch of land in the East & S.South will be used for grazing reserve. Buhari has failed & will continue to fail in his attempts to subjugate and islamize us!!

I will support this if only they will support business estate bill for Igbos in Nigeria where every states in the North will map out 30% of their total land and allocate them to Igbos for their perpetual business in the land.

And Igbos and other southerners shall have full right over the lands and call the land anything they feel like, such as Akabo, Obulu ulor, Esien udim, Akwa mmiri, Opobo ala n'elu, Ugwu calabar, Obi okirika, Dukubo's land etc. and no Muslim shall have right to erect any mosque of any form on these lands. Igbos and other southerners will forever be the owners of the lands.

2, it should be stopped by all nigerians who have the interest of nigeria at heart
