I'm on the verge of taking a decision on what surface cover to use for my project and I'm considering using interlocking stones or the age old German floors.
A few issues to consider:-
1) Cost of the materials/finished work
2) Durability of the surface
3) Style/Trendy
4) Weather effects on the surface (Microbial/Spirogyra growth)
5) Flexibility for maintenance

Area to be covered is about 250 sqm

How can i make the german floor stylish too to avoid the cost of installing interlocking stones.

What's the location of your site? Is it a swampy or dry land?
Well interlock is the in thing this day and your 250sq.m isn't much
Per say so using interlock wont b a bad idea cost wise.
Normal German floor can be expensive depending on the
Thickness of the floor and the mix.
