The National University Commission (NUC), has released its annual university rankings and named University of Ibadan in Oyo state as the top tertiary institution in Nigeria.

The body, which is responsible for accreditation of schools, put University of Lagos in second place and rated Covenant University as the best private university.

Below is the 2013 Top 100 NUC University Ranking in Nigeria.

The ranking who see the University of Ibadan UI topping the
list and the University of Lagos falling download to 2nd place
and while the University of Benin UNIBEN down to 3rd
place. while the bottom three university are Federal
University Lokoja, Lokoja at the 98th position and at 99th
position is the Federal University Kashere, Kashere and the
100th position is Rhema University Obeama-Asa

met a couple of uniilorin graduates and they didn't exactly wow me. Average at best. Some even below average.

Remove Western Delta University from that list. It's a sorry school that shouldn't even exist.
