Imagine such cruelty, report says that, the baby was picked when the NSCDC where on a patrol along the New Elelenwo Manifold in Akpajo, Eleme LGA of Rivers state, when they saw the baby tucked inside a carton of noodles and placed in the refuse disposal area, on Friday, July 15, July 2016.

The statement adds that though the baby who was in a critical condition at the time it was found due some climatic condition such as rain and heat , she was doing well after the officials rushed her to a hospital where she was given prompt and adequate medical attention.

The State Commandant of the NSCDC, Helen Amakiri, said the baby will be handed over to the Social Welfare Department of the Ministry of Women Affairs of the state to take care of the found baby.
