Eleven states in northern Nigeria have a record of one million seven hundred thousand malnourished children, according to the 2016 Global Nutrition Report.
The Northern states are Bauchi, Gombe, Jigawa, Kano, Kebbi, Sokoto, Zamafara, Adamawa, Yobe, Borno, Katsina and Abuja.
The Executive Director of a non governmental organization known as “Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC),Mallam Auwal Ibrahim Musa (Rafsanjani) made the disclosure Saturday afternoon in Katsina during a meeting between civil societies group in Katsina state and Governor Aminu Bello Masari.The organisations had held a two hour meeting with the governor,where they apprised him about their activities in the state including challenges facing them and areas they needed the intervention of the state government.Mallam Musa told the governor that CISLAC is a UNICEF sponsored project in the state that has been working for the

Malnourished children keep increasing when people give birth to plenty children they can't care for. That's the height of injustice.

Why give birth when you're not prepared for parenthood?

Pathetic. I hate seeing children suffer. Please northerners discourage underage marriage. Begging is just an hobby. I met a meat seller who has four wives. Now tell me how will he be able to take care of the four wives and the children. Self inflicted woes
