Requirements for land title documents in Kaduna

A. Conversion of customary title to statutory Right of occupancy;
1. Obtain application form LAND1
2. Photocopy of local govt C of O
3. Sketch plan
4. Site analysis report

B. Assignment of Certificate or Right of Occupancy;
1. Obtain application form land6
2. payment of evaluation and processing fees
3. payment of outstanding rates and charges.
4. Joint site inspection with Land officers from the ministry.
5. Ensure land is free from encumbrance

C. Assignment of uncertificated right of occupancy;
1. Obtain application form land6A
2. Sketch analysis report
3. Recent photoghraph
4. Current tax clearance certificate
5. Joint site inspection with Land officers from the ministry.

D. Re-Issuance of C of O (lost)
1. A written letter notifying the ministry of the loss of the C of O and a request to be revoked in order to issue a new one
2. Sworn an affidavit of the lost C of O before a commisioner of Oath in a high court of justice
3. A publication notifying the public in a wide national daily.
4. Assignee of R of O can also be issued a new C of O in his names in place of the assignor
