This morning something led me to the mortuary but seeing the crowd there I was forced to ask what was happening there. Getting close I was marvelled at the arrangement of ckc old boys. I envy them simply. Ahobite notwithstanding.

Onitsha Stands Still as Fr. Tagbo goes home in flaming Chariot.

The commercial city of Onitsha was agog from 9am today 3rd August 2016 with pomp and circumstance as celebrations of the exit of the iconic former principal of Christ The King College (CKC), Rev. Fr. Nicholas Tagbo commenced with a colorful procession with chariot bearing hearse escorted by mounted Police.

The cavalcade of eminent personalities led by the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, an old boy of the famous college and many other distinguished Nigerians moved from St. Charles Borromeo Hospital through Ziks Roundabout-Awka Road-Oguta Road and birthed at the CKC compound where the body was received. My old man told me many stories about this great man, including that as the school principal he had the school's uniform, would dress like a student, mingle and fish out bad eggs red-handedly! RIP
