I think because of the high patronage of this App, they want to conner people towards a particular direction and achievement. And the reason, they know better. I am considering dropping this App, i am suspecting something sinister here

Trust me if u leave all those ur old and outdated so called phones and upgrade to the future ones u will wish u have done that beford... They just want u 2 have d best experience thats all, its your choice also(as 4 me i cnt use a phone any phone if its not android running on kitkat4.4.4 mininum or iphone ios8+) thank u and DO WHATS RIGHT FOR BETTER TECHY FUTURE.

For D5 yes it runs on 4.0 (ice cream sandwich) Tecno p5 too will work, it runs on Os 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean)

There a need for blackberry and other affected phone companies to team up to produce a platform that will render the kind of service whatsapp is rendering, whatsapp has killed most IM applications


The phone producers want african to import their newly produced phones , infact the phone producer want to use use whatapp to increase ther market and control consumers, dictate what happens, produce job for their people by producing more new phones
This means any phone you are using can be render useless at anytime whatapp upgrade above your level, this is politic with consumer at the recieving end.

Whatsapp/facebook are gonna make same mistake that got yahoo into trouble and gave google a edge!

An app that works on all phones will soon come up and wipe these e-diots away!

Why not leave the old app working on those old phones that can't upgrade! Let them see the new features on those with upgraded fones and upgraded features!
