Seeing the way the country is going, it will not be long before we start experiencing what happened in The Biblical Isreal during the times of Prophet Elijah Where some women organized to eat their children.

Yes O the economy of Nigeria is that Bad!

But what is worse is directionlessness of GENERAL CASSANDRA's government in tackling the economic situation.

Even we know the problem quite predated this government, the lack of procedure to keep it under control is to say the least frightening.

With this I say the Nigerian people should rise and fight for their country. Stop waiting for any Government because they all will fail you totally.

Nigeria during the times of Goodluck Jonathan was like a child suffering from chronic diarrhea but the Government of the GEJ for also on an intensive feeding regime.

What it means is that, when corruption, wasteful management, lack of solid economic foundation was draining the country, Jonathan's government was busy pumping more monies to be stolen and misappropriated.

And now in this Era of Buhari, there seems to be no Money to carry on the intensive feeding program and even if there was indeed money, Buhari was never intending on allowing the massive appropriation for massive looting and wastages, but what Buhari is NOT doing which should be blocking all avenues of leakages will eventually kill this metaphorical child NIGERIA that is suffering from this chronic economic diarrhea.

Buhari's supporters should not be deceived by the constant News headlines filling up every news paper pages recently of Top Government Officials of mostly past Governments facing one corruption charges or the other which at the end of the day ends up without convictions.

Corruption in Nigeria is much more rooted in a systematic manner, it is deeply ingrained into the fiber of our National consciousness, So it would need much more than persecuting a Handful of top officials to rid the country of corruption.

In the midst of failed economic realities, Buhari's government must NOT fail in righting the wrongs of this country corruption-wise, and installing the much needed discipline the nation needed and it is in this light, all rational Nigerians would judge the performance of his government whether its performance was Good or Poor!

In very Lucid terms, I want to spell out that what Nigeria NEEDs from this government is

1: Corruption should be made a capital crime with very severe punishment for offenders.

Jail terms of more than 10 years must be made law enforced.

It is high time we started seeing governors go to jail for abusing their official positions for financial gains or other wise.

CORRUPTION is killing Nigeria!

Corruption is abuse of position authority, and as an act, it must carry a jail term!

Nigeria is trying to fight corruption from the more technical angle of "Money laundry" which in my opinion is not working!

Corruption does not have to get to massive laundry cases before we can consider it corrupt.

The mere attempt once it can be proven should be enough reason to go to jail.

This my fellow country people would be the final solution to Corruption as we know it.

2: Nigeria needs to be restructured into truly independent federating entities especially when it comes controlling and managing their resources and having local police system.

It generally absurd to give a state constitutional powers to make law and take away the powers to enforce their laws within their jurisdiction.

If Buhari Aka General Cassandra can manage to do these two things before the expiration of his tenure, he would be on his way to becoming what NELSON MANDELA was to South Africa.. Other wise! .. Hmmmmmm... Let's watch and see!
