The Nigeria U-17 team, called the Golden Eaglets, beat Niger republic, in a qualifying match for the Africa U-17 cup of nations.


The game which was played at the National stadium Abuja, saw the reigning U-17 world champions narrowly edge their opponents 1-0.


The keenly contested game saw Alagbe Oluwatobiloba net the only goal just two minutes into the game.


Niger will host the return leg in two weeks and the winner from both legs will qualify to the next round of the qualification series for the CAF U-17 nations cup.

I pray it won't be like the U20 team that crashed out, not qualifying for AFCON after winning the world junior championship last year.

What the heck is wrong with NFF??. prior to the time before CAF organized it's MRI scan, Manu Garba boys underwent NFF's organized MRI scan and they all scaled through, only for most of them to fail CAF MRI scan. Does it point to the fact that the MRI scan organized by NFF was a hoax?? .
