Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state has completed the construction of pedestrian bridge at Berger bus-stop along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway way.Disclosing the news,he said... 'The pedestrian bridge at Berger bus-stop along Lagos-Ibadan expressway has been completed and is now open for use' 'We are committed to delivering on the promises we made to Lagosians'. 'We encourage Lagosians to make use of this pedestrian bridge rather than crossing the express.' Ambode is really working!Kudos to him! Thank God the bridge is finally completed. I have witnessed a number of horrible accidents along that spot in the last couple of years and I keep wondering why it was hard for the Government to construct a pedestrian bridge for the safety of the masses. Considering the volume of human traffic expected in the bridge this is a substandard project! I propose that Ambode's convoy should do the test run first before they open it for innocent users. Very poor for a state that makes more than 60billion monthly. 12 Likes |
