There was tension this morning at St Joseph Catholic Church Igbo- Etche over decision by the Parish Priest to dissolve all the Catholic Women Organization executives.
According to a reliable source in the parish, a priest who was newly posted down to the place December last year has continued to develop the church so immensely. The priest is a very hardworking man of God who have brought so much development to the church and that's why he is so much loved by all.
As a popular saying goes, that no matter how kind one becomes, you must have haters.

The priest after observing some ugly things going among the CWO, he decided to dissolve the entire executive and appointed care taker committee pending when the new elections are conducted.

The CWO President who hails from Imo State decided to take it personal by asking the court to order a summon asking the Priest to reinstate his decision abinitio. A controversial woman who is a business woman also went extra mile of reporting the priest to the diocese and after a meeting that was held among CWO, the matter became more controversial.

As the matter progresses, the priest was asked to step aside so that new parish will be given to him but the parishioners on hearing this insisted that the priest must not go anywhere because of rational decision he took as the spiritual head of the church.

Now the church is closed pending when the whole issue is totally resolved. But for now , parishioners are very angry because of this Jezebel woman from Imo State have turned church into personal affairs.
