Not long ago a friend told me how he loves the Nigerian use of repeated, same-word compound nouns. Until then, i did not really pay attention. I found these words as amusing as they are creative. Below are just ten examples:

Small-small
Sabi-sabi
Kuli-kuli
puf-puf
magu-magu
chin-chin
holy-holy
chuwa-chuwa
lie-lie
true-true

I guess Nairalanders will mention more.
