Boko Haram has released a video of the girls
allegedly kidnapped two years ago, showing some
who are still alive and claiming others died in air
strikes.
The Nigerian armed group seized 276 students from
the Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok on
the night of April 14, 2014. Fifty-seven managed to
escape in the immediate aftermath.
"They should know that their children are still in our
hands," says a man whose face was covered by a
turban in the video posted on YouTube on Sunday,
the AFP News agency reported.

Buhari's government is in a fix on how to exit from this Chibok scam that helped them get into power. I wish them luck. |

If this is anything to go by them one might consider this some good news. It suggests the military bombardment is really hitting the insurgents right where it hurts them. Which means they are within the periphery of the targets. It also suggests some of the Chibok girls are alive even if not so well. The conundrum would be a strategy for getting the girls alive whilst dealing a deadly blow to these terrorists. Do we consider the girls as collateral damage? -I think not. Do we negotiate with these infidels? Not the best solution. In any case, the military has been doing a great job in recent times. Yet, we need strategic intelligence to once and for all vanquish these villains. |
