If you think your wordpress site is cluttered when viewed on mobile devices, you can easily hide some widgets by making use of the "Widget Options" plugin. Once installed, navigate to the widget form of the widget you want to hide and set the options as desired.

If you don't want to use a plugin, you can use css media queries if you know the ID of the wordpress widget.
