There are many things that people eat which truncate their lives when they’re around 40, 50 and 60 years. There are many things indeed, but here’s one of them…

Putting hot food or preserving it in a nylon or plastic material (no matter the color) is a suicide mission that kills gradually.

Audu Ogbeh, Minister of Agriculture confirms this recently when he was giving a public lecture.

When you go to a party and you’re served moinmoin which was cooked in nylon, don’t eat it, except it was cooked in leaves (hot food in leaves is salubrious). This means that wrapping eba, amala, eko etc in nylon is suicidal, yet that’s what we eat everyday.

When bags of pure water is exposed to sunlight, it becomes poisonous, unless this is prevented. This type of poison is called dioxin, and since it tends to look transparent and tasteless, most people aren’t aware of it.

It causes cancers in humans and that’s why most people are lying sick in bad, shouting: Please come and take me to India! Please come and take me to India for treatment!

If this kind of illness will kill people immediately, that’d be merciful. But it kills gradually and they undergo prolonged pains before they die.

When a rich man/woman is terminally ill, they’ll be taken to a good hospital for treatment and continues to treat them until they die. Money is spent on them until they die.

When a poor man/woman is sick, they’ll be taken to a hospital and some money can be spent. However, after it’s discovered that the illness deifies treatment, they’ll be brought home to die (since no money can be spent on them again). They’ll be put in a room and left to suffer pain until they die.

When people have cancer, Yoruba people will ignorantly call it OFA (spiritual arrow).

Nylon is OK for food packaging, provided that hot food isn’t put in it.

There are many other poisons we eat: chemicalized canned foods, and frozen foods. This is a pity.

We want to gather riches and own properties. We want to succeed and have many degrees, but we don’t know that all these things are useful for us only when we’re alive. It’s good to enjoy the fruits of our labor for many years before we die.

You may leave you property for your children, but that would make sense only if the children were wise. If the dead were to come back to live, they would cry when the see what’s happened to the property they battled to own.

Many have built houses for others to live. Many have saved money or established business for others to enjoy. It’s sad when people run the rat race and neglect their health. They can spend N30,000 to buy blocks, but they can’t spend N20,000 for medical checkups.

Many landlords are dead, while barely living in their own houses; whereas someone who doesn’t know when they were struggling to build the house is now sleeping in it, feeling at ease and using a commanding tone.

The truth is: Most sicknesses that kill people are preventable. When are we going to be wise?

Online research work suggests that glassware storage is the best means of storing water and liquid medicine and drug. These are NOT to be put in plastic bottle or nylon

Very informative piece; but of course that demon that ensures that Africans die at 51 wouldn't let 9/10 of us heed to serious health warnings. Then when cancer and other terminal illnesses hit them, they'd say it's an arrow from a wicked uncle.

God help us!

Another Health Warning

When juice drinks are kept out in the sun (like we see in 8/10 of shops in Nigeria), the ascorbic acid in them reacts to form carcinogens. For those who consume these drinks regularly, you face a huge cancer risk.

Be wise, watch what you eat/drink.
