PHOTOS: Ministers Of Agriculture, Environment, Defence And Water Resources Attend GMO Meeting

The federal Ministry of Environment today, held an expert meeting on biosafety and Genetically Modified Organisms.

The purpose of the meeting was to address public concerns on the safety of genetically modified food and feeds, genetically modified organisms on bio-diversity and socio-economic issues and to advise the government on the direction and clarification of Nigeria's position on bio-technology and GMOs.
