SAT Question: (17 −3)÷7−2(−4 − 8 ) =

A.−20

B.−2

C.26

D.31

Using BODMAS

Step 1: Solve for bracket

(17 −3) ÷7 −2 (−4 − 8 ) =

(14) ÷7 -2 ( -12 )

14÷7 + 24*

Step2: Divide

14÷7 + 24 =

2 + 24 = 26

The correct option is C
