The man lived in an Hausa settlement, the president is Hausa and we kniw the substle hate between both ethnic groups which grew stronger since Buhari became president. If i wear a placard with Fu*ck Ojukkwu, or Fu*ck Biafra and walk in Alaba, or Ladipo. That is a deliberate action by me to instigate public unrest and disorder. I hope i am clear?

First of all, Buhari the APC leader is not an Hausa man. Secondly, everything else you wrote is irrelevant as the complainant clearly stated that the reason for his annoyance on the issue was because he believed that the accused named his dog after his father, not the President. However, for argument's sake, let's assume that the man named his dog after the APC leader- he didn't- if you wore a placard insulting Ojukwu or B.iafra then I'm sure that you'll get verbally abused by the traders there but that doesn't mean that you should be arrested for it. If the police were competent, in that scenario, then they'll just remove you from that area, give you a stern talking to and perhaps even confiscate your placard. It really is that simple.

Lol. Keep living in self deceit. You and I know that should an Hausa man do the same in an Igbo settlement, it can stir up trouble. Where does trouble start from? Is it not from exchange of words verbally? Be sincere with your self and tell me it will end with verbal exchange? How is what i said irrelevant? You actually think its all about the man's father? How is it that the head of the Hausa community had to intervene in the crisis. You can condemn for the unnecessary detention, but the police didn't ere by arresting in the first place. Buhari is an Hausa man, thr president of thr country, and an APC leader. Deep rooted hated for Buhari is the reason for this arguments and deep down you know.

1) Buhari is not an Hausa man.
2) The complainant(s) themselves said that their issue with the accused was solely about the name of his dog being the same as that of the neighbour's father, or do you know more than them with regards to this story?
3) The police were wrong to arrest and detain him as they had no legal grounds of arrest.
4) I didn't say that it wouldn't stir up trouble if you or any Hausa man were to do that in an Igbo settlement- in fact, I said quite the opposite. The police should have dissipated the situation by giving the accused a stern talking to for his behaviour and warning the complainant about wasting valuable police time and resources. They really can't do much else.
5) My feelings for President Buhari are irrelevant in this matter as it had nothing to do with him, according to the complainants.

If I'd a pet dog, giving it Buhari as a name would be such a dishonour to the dog.

That name is suitable if printed on my door footmat not a name my pet could bear.
