Since accident is an unexpected event, it will be difficult for any application to prevent it; however, there is an application that could save you from a road accident. This application, SOSmart was programmed to auto-detect serious car crashes.

After crash detection, it will automatically send the location of the road accident to rescuing medical team or to your emergency number.

How SOSmart Works

This application works on the principle that fatality in road accident usually occurs because victims don’t get prompt medical attention after this incident. Therefore, what this application does is to use sensors in smartphone to detect crashes, then use GPS to mark the accident location and send this location to your emergency numbers.

Will your emergency numbers be notified if you violently snatch your phone on a wall?

The answer is NO. The programmer has tested the app several times to ensure this application only notify emergency contacts when serious accident occurs.

How To Use SOSmart

• Download SOSmart from Play Store or Apple Store.

• After downloading, launch the application and skip to registration.

• Select your country and input your phone number.

• Tap NEXT.

• Add your emergency contacts.

N.B: Your emergency contacts should be the number of FRSC, Highway Emergency Response Team or A family member.

• After adding emergency number, click DONE.

• The next screen will ask you to enable your GPS. Enable it.

• After enabling GPS, go back to the application and enable Automatic monitoring mode.

You can minimize this application after enabling the automatic monitoring mode, it will be running from your phone background.

Even though we do not pray for a road crash and other bad incidents, I believe having this application should be a must for anybody that will ever travel in a car.

Disappointed! I had thought the application would prevent or tell me what would happen in the next few hours or minutes.

Are you serious about the bolded, don't you know most of these Cheap android phones(tecno) don't have half the number sensors on the expensive ones (Samsung)?
