Beyonce took time out to remember Aaliyah on the 15th anniversary of the singer’s tragic death in a plane crash. The Lemonade star was just 18 years old and three years shy of her Crazy In Love success when she got a chance to speak to her idol at the 2000 MTV VMAs. Beyonce was clearly the gushing fan and Aaliyah the gracious professional as the two chatted on camera during the pre-show. ‘Miss Aaliyah, so good to see you.
