Good Morning gurus.

I recently bought a new Alienware m17 R2 laptop. It's one month old and some days. The keyboard developed a problem 2 days back as I observed that some buttons on the keyboard are pressing wrongly.

Example: When i press 'w', it brings 'qwqq'. Pressing 'Q' gives 'qww'. Pressing '1' gives '122'. Pressing '2' brings '1211'. Z and X also gives wrong output. The problem is basically around the Capslock area.

I have tried all methods of fixing this on the internet. I have reset the PC, still no success.

Who has experienced this before and what's the likely solution?

Thanks

I use a Zinox C4106, when I charge my laptop it doesn't get it 100% sometimes it stops at 99, 98, 97. Today it stopped at 87% I really don't know what to do, sometimes when the laptop is plugged in. It starts to hang and gets slow but once I unplug it, it works well.
Please I need a solution!

Oh, okay. How can i do that?

Some people said that the Keyboard has broken and needs to be replaced. But, sometimes, the Keyboard still works normally.

Like, this evening, it worked well. Then started typing wrongly again when i ON it back

take it to the engineer, they would clean the keyboard with a brush and some kind of liquid. the keyboard will start working normally.

Zinox laptop won't charge up to 100. Sometimes 95, 91 or even 86%

It's working now. He checked it, and it was the chip in that area that was affected, and it has been replaced

He said the heat from the PC affected that area, that i should buy an external fan/cooling fan to cool the PC when it's heats up

To prevent over heating the Pc, avoid placing it on a soft surface, like a foam or on the bed, it would block the air circulation, and vents area, thereby heating the internal components. always place the pc on a hard surface like a desk, table, tiles

make an inquiry to the online website where it was shipped from. you can't remove the bios password yourself because it is an embedded TPM security module within the motherboard. the password is on the BIOS chip, until they change the BIOS chip into another one without password from the board.

You don't need to change the bios chip, I removed 2 1040 g3 password yesterday.

Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc it will open the task manager, then click on startup. Untick those apps you install that startup immediately you power on your laptop and click OK. Restart your pc and see if there is any improvement.

Again download hard drive sentinel, it's a software use to check hard drive health.
Run it and see the health of your hdd.
