Ondo State Needs Prayers As PDP And APC Engulf In Crisis

What is happening in our dear state (Ondo State) over the crisis rocking the two major political parties, PDP and APC, call for prayer and a sober reflection. We need prayer. When two elephants are fighting, it is the grass that will suffer.

APC is not settle over crisis of alleged endorsement and planned imposition of a gubernatorial aspirants against the interest of others. PDP is divided into two factions namely: Sheriff and Markafi over similar allegation that divided APC into various groups. In PDP, only God via the court could tell us which faction is authentic or not.

If PDP wins the election today, no faction must rejoice against another as only God could know if PDP will still take over from PDP through court cases as several court cases are pending over which factions should be recognized by INEC as authentic national leadership of the party. Nobody should rejoice now among the two factions in PDP.

APC is also in the same boat. Some groups have gone to court to restrain the state chairman, Isaac Kekemeke to stop parading himself as the state chairman of the party with the secretarial of the party sealed off with JUJU in a traditional way. We are also aware that the opposition party is having two different version of Delegate lists. It was alleged that delegates on the old list had been kidnapped and camped in various hotels by Senator AJAYI Borroface and chief OLUSOLA Oke which has consequentially resulted to several postponements of the party primary election to yet unknown date in a bid to create pace of time to ensure that the alleged endorsement and planned imposition of Segun Abraham sail through.

The latest news is that all the available delegates are being bought with 500k to garner supports for SEGUN Abraham. Investigative journalism also revealed that the national leadership of the party has perfected plans to use the new delegate lists allegedly prepared by the national leader of the party in favour of his anointed candidate if majority of the old delegates are not accessible. It was also reliably gathered that a resolution had been taken by other leading aspirants of the party in one accord to work against the success of any anointed candidate likely to emerge through any fraudulent means in the general election as a payback mechanism.

All said and done, the masses should pray for the will of God to prevail in Ondo State cos the consequences of having the wrong person elected as governor over the affairs of the state will be harmful for the masses.
