I want to get a corolla but I came across the corolla Altis model,with leather seats and fairly okay interior...please I need info from the experts in here about the engine,tranny if it's as durable and easy to maintain like the normal American corolla model

the chances of the Altis being a converted car is quite high. That particular model was sold in the asian markets where they predominantly use RHD.

Stick with the Sport 2005.

I personally can risk the Altis if i am really crazy about it. saw one at my panelbeaters the other day. well converted only issue i saw was the AC pipes were join joined so it was leaking.
