Now I believe what alhaji dokubo said according to him there's no oil in lagos its all media lies and hype ...remember the media reported that the uk will receive the first crude on September 11 and today is 30th ,they are giving reasons so that by 11 sept they ll say lagos assembly blocked the process gosh! My governor is right afterall yorubas are taking this too far if we don't do anything now ,we ll become jokes in coming yEars |

Guyman02:so south-west leaders told easterner state not to develop their region with their 13% derivation, and is now a crime if lagos decide to use their 13% judiciously, 1 Like 2 Shares |

molydonhenry:. Hate us we don't give a damn. We are proactive by learning from other people's mistake. Blame your leaders and representatives for not been proactive but only cared about commissions from oil companies without Care for the environment and the people. Dokibo and rest make Bilions from oil companies without nothing to show in terms of development. Instead of hating and ranting put pressure on your leaders to do the right thing. 3 Likes |

Adiola: The guy, even though a Yoruba man from Lagos, wasn't given the oil wells free of charge. He paid dues to the federation account which was shared to all including your state. No one will blow it because those in the communities around there are reasonable and sensible folks who know its stupidity to cut your nose because you hate your face 1 Like |

Adiola: I suggest you get out of discussions that your intellect cannot handle. A discussion is centering on the technical and commercial aspects of Oil and Gas exploration, development and production..............you ridiculously brought what Asari Dokubo, whose education probably has not gone beyond gun fighting in the creeks, into the mix...... At times I wonder if you guys go to school to learn ignorance Secondly don't you think is safer to ask questions and be educated than to sound dumb and ignorant? Obviously you don't know zilch about crude export and trading, yet rely on what the media said and directed your diatribe at the wrong people Be educated - Beyond the necessary government take (Royalties, PPT, govt share from profit-oil, and 13% derivation to Lagos state), Yinka Folawiyo it is who has the headache of selling the crude to whoever they choose - the UK company or anyother, and whatever time 4 Likes 1 Share |

Firefire: This is when ipob villagers try to sound sensible, but end up sounding ignorant and utterly clueless... Badagry is is the crown jewel in Lagos and every move and the most critical and important moves by the leadership in Lagos administration after administration is to make sure Badagry remains the golden jewel and future of Lagos state economically and socially. Why do you think the Lagos state government pushed very hard to build a deep seaport in Badagry? Why do you think the Lagos state government put a Free Trade Zone in Badagry Why do you think the Lagos state government is building Energy City in Badagry Why do you think the Lagos state government is opening up access to Badagry by building a 10 lane freeway to Badagry? Why do you think the Lagos state Government put a asphalt plant in Badagry to build roads Why do you thing the Lagos state government is making Badagry Nigeria's Number 1 tourist center Why do you think resort centers like Whispering Palms Resorts are springing up in Badagry? Why is the Lagos state government building an expressway straight to Whispering Palms Resorts in Badagry Your entire SE villages doesn't a a viable river port, but a deep seaport is under construction in Badagry alone on top of the one under construction in Lekki The future of Badagry is brighter than your entire SE villages so worry about your village and let Lagosians worry about Lagos, the 7th largest Economy in Africa... 4 Likes 1 Share |
