South West have been most wicked to the people of Niger Delta, they advised the Northern leaders not to develop the Niger Delta where the oli comes from, ensured that middle cadre in the oil industry is manned by mostly Yorubas, used propaganda for many years such as 'Abandoned property' to divide the people of South South from the their smarter neighbours in the South East who would have opened their eyes years ago to the degradation. Now that Oil has been discovered in Lagos, they dont want for any of the rules they applied in the Niger Delta to be used on them, they even want 60% of the workforce to come from host communities. Una wicked walahi! |

Guyman02: Do you get paid for sounding this dumb or is it DNA ingrained? The OBJ that increased derivation to 13% from 3% na yeeboe man? Was he an ijaw man when he set up NDDC? In fact, was GEJ not president for 5 years? Did anybody stop him from developing the ND? Or was he drunk all through his presidency? Were you not the ones asking Yoruba to shut up when they were advocating for environmental awareness? Are you tired of oil spills? 12 Likes |

you know the pains the Niger deltans are passing through, but supported northeners against our demands.called us criminal for trying to survive the harsh condition created by oil companies. I weep for Niger delta.we have become a case study.let us see how many Niger deltans will be employed in Lagos oil sector.welcome to the business of blood Lagos state.may you experience double of what we have been experiencing here.may your way be rough.as a son aspires to be greater than his father, may your greatness open very uncommon challenges for you so that you can appreciate your daddy.welcome to the league of blood money. 2 Likes 1 Share |

jbhitler: They are very wicked hypocrites, they knew and encouraged the devastation of Niger Delta all these years while ensuring intentionally as a matter of policy that all Sea Ports in the ND are left moribund and everything has to come in from Lagos, now they are building another dockyard in Badagry as an export terminus while deep Sea Ports in Sapele, Koko and Onne and inland Port at Onitsha are left uncompleted and in comatose. Key positions in the oil sector in the ND are held by Yorubas and now they are insisting that the workforce in the the oil firms in their area must be from host communities; but Karma is a b!tch! 1 Like |

This issue should simply have made you realise that you lack caring and thoughtful leaders in your region. With all the funds acrued to Gej, Alams, Ibori, Uduaghan, Odili, Silva, etc plus heads of NDDC from your area, what did they do to improve the region and their people ? 3 Likes |

ba7man: I don't understand why there's so much bitterness and hate amongst you guys. Lagos isn't asking for anything you guys don't enjoy currently. It's only making sure it's used equitably. You have 13%. Lagos is getting 13%. Lack of PIB that's bedeviled you also affecting Lagos It's leaders are demanding measures to prevent problems, while your leaders encourage measures that's caused 80% of your problems from oil exploration. It's asking for 60% local labour. Where is your proposal on local labour. It's asking for a SPV account for the 13% in order to monitor spend. What have you guys done with your 13%? What framework to safeguard it. It's House of Assembly is demanding actions. What has your Assembly done over the years. If your House of Assemblies and politicians did all Lagos State is trying to do, you won't need NDA or Militants or criminals demanding the pollution and all should stop. Evil triumph when good men don't act. Your good men are so evil, that the evil men are now fighting for your good. That's the ND leadership for you 4 Likes |

Most of the environmental pollution and degradation going on in the delta manifested because of the activities of terrorists blowing up pipelines, deltans damaging pipelines to steal oil and the leaders in that region paying their youths to blow up pipelines just to secure repair contracts. What happens when you blow up pipelines, you damage your land and suffer the consequences. 3 Likes |
