ASHERMAN'S Syndrome! by Graciousned: 3:31pm On Aug 31, 2016
Hello, let's talk Asherman's syndrome also known as intrauterine adhesions. Caused by formation of scar tissue following overzealous scrapping of the endometrial cavity during D&C, C-section, fibroid or polyps removal and other kinds of abdominal surgeries. Recently diagnosed for the 2nd time after HSG test. After a C-section i had 5 years ago. Have you had success without surgery if yes what did you do or use? Did you do surgery? If yes which doctor did you use and where. What technique did your doctor employ? Did you have success TTC post asherman's surgery? Please lets help one another and other sisters in similar conditions. This is a complication from surgery that doctors rarely talk about or even acknowledge. May God grant us all our BFPs!

Great! I was just about to open a thread specifically for this. I just recently had an adhesiolysis procedure done laparoscopically and hysteroscopically with a Foley balloon catheter in for weeks after the procedure kept in to prevent adhesions which has been taken out now and adviced to have an ivf procedure asap. I was also wondering what to use to prevent further adhesions from growing at the moment while I gather funds and make enquiries on the best place in nigeria for an IVF treatment. Please let's share anything that will be helpful for people with ashermans syndrome especially those who have experienced it and achieved a successful pregnancy after. May God help us all

My sister God will bless you and grant your BFPs in Jesus name. I heard serrapeptase and wobenzyme helps to keep scar tissues away by eating up scars and balancing the body's immune response to injury. Anyone who has had success can help out.

Hello beautiful women of God. My prayers today are for divine grace and favor as we step out, may we conquer every form of adhesion pulling us back from our God-given destinations, may they be torn apart so that we will reap the fruits of our labour in Jesus name. AMEN!

Hi, I had the operation done in London and it was just a day in hospital and I was home the next day. No prep at all to go in for the surgery. According to the surgeon it was severe scarring as a result of the myomectomy I had in Nigeria. Been adviced to have ivf done immediately. It's usually adviced to do so within three months of the operation. I guess I shldnt bother about a re-occurrence since I'm going to try to get pregnant right away. All the best dear. The Lord is our strength.

Kings College Hospital, Dr Nitish Narvekar, I heard he's good and has helped in removing adhesions successfully over the years.

The least amount I have taken for removal of uterine fibrosis is 300k and I think the amount charge largely depends on management and logistics. But after a proper scraping most women not all tends to have a normal return to their menstrual life.

Yes! in fact many. But it all depends on how much it was managed even after the process of uterine synechiaea is done away. Pertaining to the practitioner, he or she may have forgotten to give medications that will help soften the uterine plate apart from antibiotics. The truth is when this is poorly managed other part of uterine lining having gone deep begins to join in the fibrosis...

Cos this thread wasn't opened for these kind of adverts.
