Did We Vote For Death? by Nobody: 7:39am On Sep 01, 2016
Let me warn that fundamentally I've not changed my position that the last administration is probably the worst thing that has happened to Nigeria. The hardship we are now facing is a direct consequence of the ineptitude and brazen acts of thievery that characterized the Jonathan Years. And that was the reason that AMAECHI & his army cast their lot with President Muhammadu Buhari. It was a moral obligation that we owed Nigeria and are therefore not going to regret our decision to save Nigeria from brigands .

What we are pained about is the betrayal of the vehicle used to achieve this nations duty. We suspect that President Muhammadu Buhari & his northern brothers have forgotten that Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi & his supporters were a part of the tripod without which, there was never going to be a BUHARI PRESIDENCY. I have my facts & they CANNOT BE CONTRADICTED.

The incontrovertible fact is that CRA had no issues with Dr Goodluck Jonathan until he started acting like Nero & his humiliation of Chief Timipre Sylva. It's on record that as a redundant Vice President, CRA recognized him as the highest political office holder from the south south region and patronized him in a way that even his home state & Ijaw brothers never thought of. And the facts are public knowledge too.

Therefore, it's inconceivable that the President & the northern political establishment can now decide to act in a manner that tends to humiliate the man who made today possible because they think that they've gotten what they wanted. CRA sacrificed everything- from his safety, comfort and to lives, just to make sure that Gen. Buhari emerged president. He believed it was the right thing for Nigeria. He was derided & humiliated before , during and after the 2015 elections. The humiliation has been taken to another level since the Supreme Court headed by a northerner affirmed the rule of the gun over the rule of the thumb in a constitutional democracy.

I need not bore anyone with the large scale genocide that has been going on in Rivers state- if you like RIVERSTAN. It's public knowledge that the life of Amaechi's supporters has become short, brutish & worthless. Even those who are "lucky" to be alive leave a miserable, uncertain and therefore meaningless life. It has become a matter of when & not if. Yet the northern dominated federal government does not care. The security agencies are standing by & watching, pretending to be helpless. What a price to pay for following your political belief. The roll call of death bestrides every nook & cranny of CRA's support base.

You begin to wonder if there is a well oiled machine activated to decimate & annihilate the political capacity of the man who put in so much to make today possible. To a large extent, the physical political base of the Director General of the Buhari campaign organization, is indeed threatened. The bad news for the FINISH AMAECHI PROJECT , is that Amaechi is our way of politics & not just a process. He is in the hearts & mind of his friends, who are with him at all times & for good reasons. How can you kill what you can't see? This FINISH AMAECHI PROJECT is dead on arrival. If we survived President Jonathan & his army at home, why should anyone fighting us on our turf imagine that we will capitulate. It's not in our character to be cowed. We are a pride of lions trained in the act of survival. Let our "friends" who we suffered & sacrificed for know that no matter how difficult it becomes in the jungle, the LION WILL NEVER CHEW GRASS.

Where was Abba Kyari when Amaechi was stopped from entering the government house by a contingent of GEJ's army? Where was David Lawal, when Rivers state official jet was seized by GEJ & company? Where was Maman Daura, when Amaechi was squeezing water out of stone to match the PDP machine? Where was Ibrahim Idris, when Mbu Mbu stormed the Rivers state government house shooting live bullets and teargas into the premises? Where was Lawal Daura when the SSS were all over the place hounding Amaechi's "APC supporters"? Where were they?

From Lagos to the Katsina-Kano political highway via the Abuja corridor, there are people who are determined to see Amaechi brought to his knees. What is his offense? His profile went up through the glass ceilings after he delivered Gen. Buhari in 2015, and the prominence became larger than life. For those who lost out, this is pay back time, and for those with eyes fixed on 2019, this is also the time to put him out of political circulation. In all, it's been & remains about Buhari and 2019. The coalition is working from PDP and APC. This is why a top PDP operative will offer OJUKAIYE FLAG-AMACHREE a life line if he comes over because Amaechi CANNOT SAVE YOU FROM his Gulag .

If we situate this effrontery within the context of constitutional democracy in a country with a very strong presidency, then we can very easily come to the conclusion that those who want to put out the Amaechi flame are not acting alone. They have friends in the APC federal government & the northern political establishment who are not comfortable with what Amaechi will mean by 2019, if not given the ABIOLA TREATMENT. Between 1979 and 1981, late Chief MKO Abiola was used by the northern political establishment to chip off the support base of the venerable Chief Obafemi Awolowo with eyes on 1983. By 1982, with MKO's new larger than life image rising above the political seams, the same system that supported him finished him up like they plan to do with Amaechi.

While MKO did not suffer this level of physical political suffocation, AMAECHI IS NOT ABIOLA AND WILL NOT SUFFER MKO's FATE. He is the uncertainty of tomorrow whose power is from God. He is CHIBUIKE AMAECHI. Therefore, his traducers and hounders are acting in vain. From Aminu Tambuwal to David Lawal and other northern members of the federal establishment who want to see Amaechi go down, I have one advise for them. AMAECHI NA CRAB & DEM NO DEY EAT CRAB SILENTLY OR IN SECRET. Amaechi is not a product of political silver spoon. He has fought political battles in the hearts and minds of the people-the mainstay of this enigma. His support base was not bought with money but with loyalty from him to his friends & supporters. This is why he has NEVER SUFFERED BETRAYAL FROM HIS FRIENDS. Only the merchants have gone & only the merchants will go, but Amaechi & Amaechism will remain to confront the new frontiers of cowardice & treachery.

To the murderous group maiming, raping, kidnapping and killing APC members in Rivers state in the hope that Amaechi will be killed off before 2019, time is fast running out on you - both the sponsors & the executioners. I know that you're emboldened by the deafening silence of the federal government of Nigeria that has ended up lionizing a pussy cat. The truth is that every dog has its day & the dogs day afternoon is just around the first turn on the right. While we will never contemplate paying evil with evil, the soul of the murdered shall trouble all the conspirators to no end. It's just a matter of time.

To the federal government & the biggest beneficiaries of the sacrifice of Amaechi and his friends, I will remind you of the profound words of Chidi Lloyld, Ph.D....."We sought to lead our people through the ballot but they used the barrel of the gun and foist(sic) themselves on us. We cried then and are still crying today. Wait a minute, WERE THEY RIGHT WHEN THEY WARNED THAT WE SHALL REGRET? ARE WE STILL PATRIOTS OR FOOLISH ?"(emphasis mine). Chuchu Pmb Benjamin , reminded us that 15 months after, over 150 people who had the audacity to vote for PMB have been "Punished appropriately" for having the temerity to vote against "our brother". Also, like Mrs Ibim Seminatari said, "The Assassination of Ken Atsuwete is not only despicable, barbaric, anti democratic and height of impunity in Rivers state, but a summary of what Rivers state had become in the last one year." I dare add, that is a very sad reminder of how much WE ARE NOW ON OUR OWN- used & dumped. Innocent Uranta asked how the President of the Republic can be comfortable with the long incarceration of one of his supporters & the gruesome murder of the lawyer battling to free him, using the instruments of the law?

Mr President, are you not tired of the weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth by APC members that supported and voted for you in 2015? How many more will die before emergency steps are taken to rescue us from the new killing field of Africa?
HOW MANY WILL DIE, BEFORE NIGERIA KNOWS THAT TOO MANY PEOPLE HAVE DIED AND WILL DIE, IF NOTHING IS DONE?
Mr President, for your information, Nigeria of 1979-83 is not one and the same as Nigeria of today. People are wiser & not prisoners to stereotypes . We've learnt to forgive and move on.

We no longer think along primitive primordial loyalties but national political expressions. Today it's Amaechi & how to neutralize him. Others are watching & learning from the Amaechi experience. As much as your new "defenders" will like to deceive you into a false sense of strength, the reality is that the core of those who did everything to make the revolution possible are hurting like the mourning families in Rivers state. The difference is that while most of our loss is permanent, the others are political and they can get their political lives back to pay you back in your own coin. Amaechi maybe your worshipper, but many others are probably not that devout followers . Look around you deeply and you will see that the animosity between most political gladiators is fast turning into political disagreement.

The difference ? Just wait and see who will end up in the new party. Of course there will be a new party just like there was one that chased Dr Jonathan away. President Goodluck Jonathan was in your present situation and was advised but he preferred to behave like the proverbial fly that followed the corpse to the grave ? The arrogance of power brought Dr Jonathan down. Your new defenders are at the tailors negotiating the design and size of the political apparel they want to make for you. I don't know if you allowed them to take your measurement, but it said that birds of identical plumage flock together. If you wear that apparel, then it will be difficult to convince anyone that it wasn't your choice.

PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN UNDER PRESIDENT OLUSEGUN OBASANJO. ASK THOSE IN THE PLATEAUS- PLATEAU & ADAMAWA.

~ Don Kmanero

Rest In Peace Comrade Ken Atsuwete, Esq.

Lololol. Exactly how to insult Buhari and get away with it. You'd first tell your audience GEJ was never an option and the worst thing to happen to us since independence. Then, insult Buhari.

A crab must be eaten, either in secret or open. Amaechi have been used and the best he can get is ministerial post. He help removed a ss man from being number one and then settles for common transport minister and somebody is holding interior, defence, attorney or even gate man at villa, while amaechi is busy dragging owole with area boys.
