Your Phone's battery is running down too fast?

Many factors can be responsible for your battery's power deliverance. Some of them are listed below:

1..How old your battery is
Charging and discharging a battery weakens it gradually. This means that with time, your battery's performance will reduce. If you have been using your battery for quite some time, you may consider replacing it.

2..What network mode you use frequently

Yes, this is one of the greatest determinants of how long a full charge will take you. If your baterry must last longer, then your browsing may have to go slower. Use EDGE most of the time. If EDGE will run your battery down in 9hours, 3G will do the same in approximately 4-6hours, while Wi-Fi will run it down in about 6-8hours. Only use 3G mode when you have to download something, otherwise, stick to 2G, and see your battery live like Methuselah!

Also, keep your bluetooth, wi-fi, GPS and most especially Data connection, off, when not using them. Even if you're expecting a message on whatsapp or facebook, put it off as regularly as possible. The longer your mobile data connection stays off, the longer your phone stays on, no pun, or magic!

3..Your Screen size and brightness
Adjust your sreen brightness to the lowest possible setiing that would not strain your eyes. Your screen size really puts a strain on the battery. Also, when not using your phone, let it be locked. This way, your screen stays off, and your phone stays on. This can be achieved by setting auto-lock, which will lock your phone after a period of inactivity.

4..How many active apps do you have?
Oh, you have battery doctor? Or is battery saver? Please un-install it. Only use follow-come battery apps. Any other battery app you install on the phone will keep running in the background, and keep eating your battery. You really dont need battery apps, whatsoever the app claims it can do!

5..Your choice of charger
Wrong chargers, are very harmful for batteries.
You may have noticed that that certain chargers
charge your phone in short time, only for the
battery to run down quickly, avoid such chargers.
Use only recomended chargers to charge your
phone. Avoid Universal(multiple or desktop) chargers.

6..Other factors may include how well and often you charge the battery and how long your screen stays on.
