Pls i want anybody dat reside in Akowonjo, Shasha area of Lagos that is using the broadband of any of this ISP Starcoms EVDO & Multi-link EVDO should pls reply to my post. I want 2 know the best in that area b4 i go ahead and buy. Also the prices of the 2 Isp modem. Thankx

@poster, the modems vary in prices dependn on wc 1 u're goin 4.
Mtlnks has 2 types: white & black modems.
-both costs N14k each, then u can go 4 any of the plans, say: 50hrs, 100hrs , etc for 30 days. e.g 100hrs costs N5600, 50hrs = N3400
stcomms 100 hrs is N6500 bt i dont know the prices for their different modem types.
am sure it will work very-very well in ur area, hope ds will help u.

Huun, thank u all 4 your contribution so far. The thing is that i have visited starcom office @ Apapa, they told me that my area is not covered by ther Evdo, unless 1x. I also called multi-link c care they told me they cover most places in lagos. So, i want somebody who has been using multilink in Akowonjo/ Shasha area of Lagos to pls update me wit latest from mult-link Evdo

One thing attimes is dat those ntwk providers don't know the extent to wc their services go (i.e coverage areas),
I also waited to confirm the services in my area b4 I got mine! Both work well around Iju-Ishaga, Ijaiye, even Okearo, in (Ogun state) why not at dat ur area?
but 2b on d safe side, wait till u hear frm some1 in d house who's frm ur area !!!
however, mtlnks seems cheaper, gud luck

I stay around akwjo, I have both Connections, Multi is Good but the connection is not predictable at working hours, But I would say Starcomms Evdo is the best in Akowonjo area,

I just got zoom (reltel) and the speed is decent. The bonus part is their modem is 100% free of charge so u only pay 10k for the initial 60 days with 300 hr airtime. If they cover ur end of Lag, u ought to try it out bro.

50hrs, 100hrs & 250hrs plans have unlimited downloads,
while 500hrs & 1000hrs have 3000 & 5000 MB downloads limits respectively.
