Prefabricated building is a new modern method of building which is completed within a very short period of time .With this method,a 20 storey apartment building can be completed within 5 days,and a duplex can be built in a day . The components of the building are already manufactured in a factory .They are transported to the site of the building and assembled together to produce the house or building .

Well, prefab houses have been around for many years and were used in many countries damaged during the world war to provide emergency houses after the war.

They are now been used in many countries and in modern architectural design. But I don't think Nigeria is ready, as they need to be built complying with very strong building codes, which we don't have yet.

The future is sure going to be fun...

prefabrication is the future.... Julius Berger has been doing it for years ranging from houses, drainage systems etc..... but its expensive though but durable ...

there are lot of architectural designs that would have made a lot of sense in Nigeria, but unfortunately armed robbers no go gree.. imagine building a house without an iron door and window protector lol

I'm surprised no one is asking what kind of foundations will be used on them ,or we expect it to plug itself to the ground..... hen ,then prefab has to be guilded with stround codes coz the ones wet them dey build step by step dey collapse for naija ,take less of the one wey dey take hours just to install?

Whenever I come across new inventions I loathe death even more..the fact that mind-blowing inventions would still come into existence after I've left..d fact that sport competitions like Uefa champions league,World cup,olympics would still take place is sickening..I remember an Uncle that had the Samsung Galaxy note 2 in 2012 & wouldn't allow the kids near it..He is dead now and Samsung just released the note 7....

Turning housing into a kid's lego playhouse -- I like. This style of construction isn't new, thank God I was opportuned to see my former school build a complete faculty in under two months using the system. Although this style would speed up development of cities and quickly turn rural areas into suburbs I can foresee our lazy government forego it as an option because the more time wasted in creating a project the more money one can siphon in the name of continuing operations.
