That's not true. Coin is still a legal tender pending when CBN says otherwise. Its still being used in some shopping like shop rite , commercial banks e tc. Probably this part of the world still see it as archaic due to some reasons but coin is still a legal tender

Yeah I did . I took coins to shop rite warri branch .

Coin is no longer in circulation, even atm machines in developed countries dispenses notes of $20 (Canada). Nobody will buy this but it's a nice attempt.
