Oscar has to go. Conte plays him because of he tracks back and defends. Unfortunately, although eye appealing, Chelsea loses perpetrating passes and the attacking force of an attacking midfielder.

Replace Oscar with Fabregas. Replace Matic with Mikel.

What this does is that it allows Mikel shield the defence and cover gaps created by bombarding forward players.

Kante can help create fluidity in the midfield with his long side ways passes and occasionally push forward, knowing Mikel is protecting the back.

Fabregas gets to concentrate on creating chances for the three forward players, Willian, Hazard and Costa.

Mikel balances the team because most only think of going forward. Then tracking back leaves them tired. There are also gaps with all the forward movement.

why can't they switch to 4-4-2 rather than the rigid 4-3-3 that led to the sack of most of our coaches like mourinho and co.you have fabregas who can pick his players from any part of the field why not allow kante protect him while his pass pick either Costa or batshuyi thereby limiting the opponent defensive midfielder from too much space in the midfield.
