Why do Christians and Muslims condemn traditional powers and solutions openly and still use them secretly?

No Muslim and Christian leaders or members would ever endorse promote traditional powers and solutions in public. In fact, they condemn those who go to these native/witch doctors and herbalists.

But reality is that, most of these so-called religious people patronize these native doctors and herbalists secretly. This is an open secret.

Why can’t the blood of Jesus solve their problems? Why do they pray and still slaughter native fowls or bury charms in their compounds to solve their problems? Why do Muslims condemn these traditional powers and still mix ingredients to use in traditional ways?

Why is religion so full of hypocrisy?

You need not genealise ur opinion. You should av inserted adjectives, such as 'few'/'some'. I CAN TELL YOU AUTHOURITATIVELY, NOT ALL CHRISTIANS DO THAT.

In fact, there are many ways in which Christianity has been 'Africanize'.

Some pentecostal churches give some people what they call assignment, which involves certain absurd, diabolic activities not found in the Bible.

They'll tell you to buy biscuits and groundnut, pray over it and scatter them on the floor overnight.
Put salt in water, pray over it and drink with your family.
Some even buy olive oil to pour while praying, which is the same as a traditionalist pouring libation while doing his incantation.

Very soon, they'll go back to slaughtering goats and chickens to appease their God.

Africans will always be Africans.
