The reason why many technicians earn more than some university graduates is because the technicians acquired more skills than the theories the graduates were fed with when they were in school. Today, there are many unemployed graduates in the world. One of the major problems of education system in Africa is that it lacks impacting of skills on students. According to International Labour Congress, Africa have the highest unemployment rate and Africa contribute just 4% to the global revenue, This is due to lack of skills of a verse African. The truth is that the lack of skills among these vibrant youths to back up what they have learnt in school really contributed to high rate of unemployment. If they have learnt any skill while they were in school, it would have reduced the level of unemployment drastically in Nigeria.

A skill acquire man's self - employed man. If he knows what he is doing he can never go hungry because the skill acquired is enough for him to provide food for him on a daily basis.

Those who has many skills start the chance of gaining many jobs from different organisation.

A skill acquired man can not do the work alone and therefore, will employ one or two staff or have someone to train on that skill.

4) Crime Reduction
It reduces Crime rate because people will begin to think on their daily duties to make money when they have a job they call their own.
Finally, skills open door to greatness, a skillful person speaks with confidence while non skillful man is full of fear and uncertainty.
