A crude oil delivery line belonging to the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company crossing Afiesere- Iwhrenene communities in Ughelli North Council Area of Delta State has been blown up by suspected militants.

A militant group, the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate, claimed responsibility for the attack, which occurred at about 1am on Tuesday.

The spokesperson for the militant group, Aldo Agbalaja, confirmed the development in a statement sent to our correspondent.

The group, which is simply called Greenland, threatened further attacks while disclosing that Tuesday’s attack was carried out as part of ‘Operation Crocodile Tears’, a planned series of attacks on oil facilities, which it declared earlier.

It said, “As a mark of our faith to totally grounding the Nigerian oil economy, the gallant “Opudo” strike forces brought down the Afiesere- Iwhrenene major delivery line in Ughelli North, leading to the UPS/UQCC operated by NPDC/SHORELINES at about 1am today 13th september 2016.

“The Niger Delta is not a conquered territory and our people have never succumbed to intimidation before, rather we match force with the oppressor’s brutality.

“The Nigerian government should already know that the people of this part are not fools, who will not be able to see when they are being treated with disdain.”

The militant group reiterated its call to those living and working around oil companies within the upland region of the Niger Delta to vacate such premises to avoid being injured during attacks.

Warning that it was running out of patience with such people, the group said, “For the last time, leave these areas if you live around them and if you love your lives.”

Nigeria army will enter one random village and pick up some old men and kill saying they have killed the king leaders. The same thing they did in Bolo harem. The result of such wicked action is that the people later have a strong support for the militants which makes their defeat next to impossible

I laugh at your gullibility grin grin grin Because you want to spite Yoruba, you could not even check to know the difference between your masters.

NDA is different from NDGJM. While the former which is made up of Ijaw Militants have decided to dialogue with the FG, the latter, Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate, is an Urhobo Militant group that felt left out in the negotiation and so decided to draw the attention of the FG by engaging in vandalism also.

Those criminals are fighting for their pocket and we Yoruba's do not actually give a rat ass if they bomb their own region to ashes by themself. Tomorrow an Isoko militant group would emerge, next tomorrow would be the turn of the Ilaje, the day after would be the Itsekiri's turn. And on and on shall the circle of militancy continue in the Delta

True. We Yoruba's are blazing the trail In Agriculture. We are not also left out of the Oil and Gas sector. While your masters are blowing up Oil installations in the ND, Dangote is currently constructing the largest Oil Refinery, Petrochemical, Fertilizer and Ammonia plant in Yorubaland

Recently, Dangote group sent 800 young minds to go under study Refinery operations in India; half of them are Yoruba.

While your masters engage in militancy, the next generations of Yoruba's that would take over the Oil and Gas industry are being incubated

it's expected, negotiating with any group was wrong in the first place (my opinion) cause the probability of a new group springing up is 100 percent. Exactly the way the miscreant collect deve where one group after collecting will disperse into forming numerous other groups for same purpose. U begin to wonder if Yar' Adua didn't give any amnesty or the ND region is now 10 times its population. Funny enough go to Warri, P/H, Yenagoa etc where the real ND citizens are u will see that they don't get a dime

Pained mofo
Why dont you yell your ND masters to come help you bomb igboland once they finish blowing up their own land grin grin

So becausae an investor decided to situate his business concern in Yorubaland automatically mean that we are being spoon fed?

We are not like your militant masters that do nothing except for drinking ogogoro and sleeping with prostitutes and then expect the FG to pay them amnesty money at the end of the day
