years back I was paid a 'princely' sum of N3000, which
even back then was very meager.


Youths Diges compiled this list of NYSC allowance for
states in Nigeria. They vary according to the type of
government owned institutions, but note that private
organisations are not included.

2. Lagos state Pays N15,000 and some times N10,000
to corpers in ministry and N5000 to those in LGA.


3.Sokoto State pays N4,000 and N9,000 to those in
state hospital.

If this about Rivers state is true, its indeed means I was lucky to have recieved my N120k as state allowance for corp member in year 2010. And yet they make corpers to go through alots their. No accomodation, expensive transportation and even the indigenes believes corpers are richer then them. Wike you need to act up and clear all the messes Amaechi left on ground for you.

Trust me port harcourt is better than lagos...no accommodation,my ppa is ikorodu lga and they don't pay...lagos is a very difficult place.

If Lagos don't pay with the stress of moving from one place to the other then its very disheartening (Where then the op got his information). Even when I served in River state; Nonwa Gbam Tai to be precise and my PPA was at Korokoro town, at least corpers do get free ride to their destinations at times when they av their cap or any means of identification on. But in Lagos nobody cares if you are a corper or not. Dont worry endure dear it will soon be over when your Kahki will turn to designer suits and CDs will turn to board meetings.
