Once again Nairalanders can't resist the temptation to disappoint! Femi made a valid point regarding the term 'Nollywood'. This is just like Hollywood or Bollywood, artistes like Rihanna,Chris Brown and so on cannot claim to be part of Hollywood so why the heck is Chidinma,Basketmouth and DJ Cuppy now part of Nollywood? At the same time, I don't think Mr. Femi needs to worry himself too much because the world already sees Nigeria as a sh*t hole angry angry angry

Bro, if you think Femi is only a Yoruba actor, then you need to get your records straight. If you are conversant with home videos and TV series, you'll know him better.

Whether green or blue or yellow with envy, Femi is on point. When did Yemi Alade, Basketmouth etc become nollywood actors? And for that matter, the best!!!

Who appointed them as representative of nollywood to meet Mark? And by meeting with him, is it for him to invest in Nollywood? Or to create a special site for Nollywood on Facebook? Or for Nollywood to partner with Facebook?

Leave illiterate id1ots and their retarded comments.
Basketmouth not only demonstrated extreme thirst by tactically disowning his fellow standup comics in sheepishly lying low under the banner of "major actors", he aso pulled a major "suck-up".

Whatever happened to Yemi Slade repping the music that Made her and Feeds her courtesy of her teeming fans and mumucious groupies.

All of them acting like retards in the presence of Zukerberg when American 11-yr olds hold thought-provoking dialogues with Obama.

And some equally rass plebes chat shyyt in here in support of that, mtcheew! Fantastically Corrupt indeed. Nigerians, it seems, wouod even steal identities now just for photos and handshakes.

Make dem take am go bank go collect money nah? And when next UN president comes visiting, make dem rush there go introduce demselves as Nigeria's "top military brass" if this our hungry-man soldiers wouldnt break their heads!

He made a valid point, which your brain ought to pick.

Go see how all of them, especially Yemi Alade gumming her body on Mark, as if she had never seen a white man before in her life.

Nigerians and inferiority complex though.

[quote author=TunezMediaTV post=49377596]Femi Branch Angry At 'Nollywood Stars' That Met Mark Zuckerberg [VIDEO]

Nollywood actor, Femi Branch has lashed out at people who have been giving the wrong impression about what the body, Nollywood entails.

The Ogun state star who has been in the movie industry since 1991 as a student, was reacting to a video that shows, Facebook boss, Mark Zuckerberg getting introduced to Nollywood artistes, that showed, Yemi Alade, Dj Cuppy, Chidinma, Basketmouth and others..

In a post on social media, 46-year-old Femi said he was pissed off at the way Nigerians represent themselves to foreigners.

In his words;

"Was really pissed off at the way we misrepresent ourselves to foreigners sometimes. Imagine this fellow saying "Here we have all the major Artistes"?? Seriously?!?! These are all the major stars in Nollywood?!?! And are Yemi Alade, Chidinma, Basketmouth and Co Nollywood Artistes?!?! This is really idiotic to say the least!!!

Nollywood means the Nigerian Movie industry, which comprises all screen Actors and practitioners in Nigeria. It does not mean the Nigerian Entertainment industry, which Nollywood itself belongs to. We should be more careful when presenting such vital information to foreigners so they don't leave confused."

RE:@Femi Branch, your submission is so petty. Why are you making something out of their visit to Mark.Everyone of them that visited are entertainers whether Nollywood ,comedian or dancers.Your physical expression and some utterance indicates bitterness and struggle all over u.Pls this life is more than all these lamentation.#ALLISVANITY! Thank God,Mark didn't give them any cash or plagues as Nollywood top-notch,by now you would have been considering suicide. For your information, they visited as individuals and mentioned their profession when and where necessary.
