In this trying times we all need to be security conscious. Some little info may come in handy more often than not.

The rate of impersonation of security agencies is on the rise.

Here are some info for the Nigerian Police. That of d other agencies will come when verified.

Here are some tips to guide us to security consciousness.

1. Number tag of a real policeman must be six digits, less than six is fake.

2. Only female police officers have their
numbers begin with "0", any policeman with number beginning with "0" is fake.

3. Every policeman's name tag is woven to the shirt, no more removable name tags.

4. A distinction between the normal policeman and the SPY (supernumerary) police personnel is that a "SPY" number must be either three or four digits with the word "SPY" boldly inscribed on their uniform shoulder.
Please at night always roll up your windows in traffic, central lock your doors, be double sure they are true policemen, if they are not, be strong and speed off. Never get frightened. Be watchful, they are everywhere. Educate your family members and friends.

This thread Is funny. Go to Lagos island and see police wearing Ankara carrying AK 47, or dirty shirt and jeans carrying gun. If you are unlucky they just come down from their rickety bus and without doing anything or giving reason they tell you enter inside.
When they also go to bus stop to collect their share of cursed money from the agbero and you look them too much, you will get arrested for poke nosing.

Please you didn't hear this from me.

What of all those policemen wearing dirty t-shirts and jean with bullets proof vest loitering around PH? They now use rickety taxi, since bus has been banned.

That's very true. Sometimes you may not be able to tell the difference between them and armed robbers.
