It was a strange scenario on Sunday 18/09/2016 as indigenes of Umuchima village,Owerri West LGA,Imo state and Students of Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) gathered to watch the Crocodile that appeared in the river that flows from a far distance across the School. It was captured by one of the village fishermen,who was invited to do so, as the swimmers(students and indigenes) took to their heels when this dangerous creature surfaced. An eye-witness with name Asap Nero(a student),also a Nairalander confirmed and narrated how it all happened and managed to take a photo of the killed creature as the killer boasted and never allowed people to take a closer look at it. Its the first time something like this happens in the village and in the stream... WONDERS SHALL NEVER END OH!!!!!!

Why did they kill it? Kai, Africans. So no zoo can take care of it and the zoological students in Owerri can't make something out of this? |

It's dead now what next? u eat it/post it on NL and make fp or what. One day is coming when all this animals will be dead/near extinction and we'll have to start spending money to bring them back or view them in other countries. You people invaded it's habitat and u expect it not to surface and scare you people away? Just imagine sleeping in ur house and the next thing u know, ur neighbors/strangers are moving into ur property and making noise/camp.. what are you gonna do?. some countries are making money from preserving thier wildlife... |
