A fast rising energy management company located in Lagos Island is recruiting to fill certain key administrative positions to support its first phase of growth. We are looking for talented and visionary individuals in Graduate internship/trainee positions with strong desire and loyalty; to learn, produce and grow with an emerging conglomerate. Positions include:


A) CORPORATE SECRETARY

Qualifications:

Bsc/HND in Secretarial/ administrative/ management-related course. Candidate must possess at least 2 years post-graduate experience working in similar capacity for a corporate (or engineering) organization. Female candidates will be given extra consideration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinating day to day functions of the company, including HR/Staff related activities
• Maintaining, updating and storing company records across all departments.
• Monitoring and evaluating key result areas for all staff, organizing targets, reporting, rewards and training systems for all job functions.
• Creating, developing and maintaining efficient and turnkey systems, budgets and schedules for all company activities and work processes.
• Looking out for and identifying training and development opportunities for staff.
• Maintaining and disbursing, free flow of information within and across all units of the business; being effective enough to make key decisions to success of the company
• Serving as executive assistant to the CEO whenever and wherever required.

KEY SKILLS

• Possesses a high tendency for effectiveness and smooth internal and external operations. A stickler for efficiency.
• Interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. Able to manage and work with many kinds of people.
• Interested in information and communications technology and willing to suggest and adapt new technologies for efficient operations.
• Able to multitask and work well under pressure, with little or no supervision.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and communications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; ERP applications a plus.


B) GRAPHICS/ONLINE MEDIA DIRECTOR

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a degree or diploma in visual communications, graphics design or related certifications. Social media/online marketing/Web 2.0 knowledge & certifications are also required. Hands-on graphics, social media, online marketing experience of not less than 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Designing online and offline marketing materials for the company.
• Maintaining and promoting company social media/internet/email handles and accounts.
• Daily, weekly and monthly online updates and campaigns.
• Telling the company story in words and pictures; interpreting our strategy into online results and leads.

KEY SKILLS

• Catchy graphics design, an eye for creativity, colour and branding.
• A good understanding of the internet and how social media works.
• A keen mind, willingness to learn and grow on the job.
• Proficient with core graphics design applications (Corel draw, Photoshop, etc), web application software, online marketing applications.



C) ADMINISTRATIVE ENGINEER

Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Bsc/HND in Engineering or related disciplines. A broad understanding of renewable energy & energy efficiency is also necessary.

Responsibilities

• Point-of enquiry response to client technical requests, online technical representative.

• Developing and designing best-fit solutions, templates, proposals and quotations for company projects.

• Designing and maintaining efficient work flow and schedules for company projects.

• Collating and converting technical project information and reports into company usable format.


Key Skills

• Proficiency in all Microsoft office applications, project mgt apps, and engineering design interpretation.
• A working knowledge of IT
• Intra-personal and interpersonal communication skills, customer care experience a plus.
• Fluent in written and verbal English.


D) FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Candidates must possess a Bsc/HND in Accounting or Financial management. Not less than two years experience working in a corporate organization. ICAN/ACCA or related certifications acquired or in view, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and updating all company financial information, past, present and future.
• Developing and enforcing cash and credit management policies and data.
• Daily, weekly and monthly bookkeeping. Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual P&L, Income, Expenditure and relevant financial data.
• Preparing or facilitating where necessary, financial plans and forecasts, requirements for lending/investment purposes.
• Developing expense budgets and related materials for effective cash management and profitability.
• Disbursing funds, fees, payments and renumeration when and where required.

Key Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other core bookkeeping software (Quickbooks, SAP, etc)

All positions are full-time and come with an attractive basic salary and end-of-year bonuses, benefits tied to key performance metrics.
