WHY IS PRESIDENT BUHARI's PLAGIARISM SUCH A BIG DEAL?___

It is pure mental debasement and utter despondency when I go through some people's posts and see many of them,out of sheer and hyper-chronic naivity,mocking President Buhari for committing "textual corruption" due the plagiarism allegation attuned to a recent speech which he gave at the #changebeginswithme congregation. It is highly dismally and disconcerting,and a proper scrutiny will show you that most of these "disdainful mockers" of the President,are average and less politically inclined people who know nothing or are pitiable "greenhorns" in the sphere of international politics.
-

-
Firstly,95 percent of world leaders and political veterans do not pen their own speech themselves. They have media aides who employ speech writers around the country to do so for them. So,when such reputation debilitating claim such as plagiarism arises,you find the laymen hastily making moves to mock and taunt the President of incompetence and ineffectiveness.

Yes,you find mediocres attune such act of "textual dubiousness" to the country's number 1 citizen,trying to paint him bad and a failure. Well,I am safe to say it is ignorance which has eaten deep and making its way through their sodden craniums.
'---
Secondly, IS BUHARI THE ONE WHO HAS DONE SUCH AND IS OBAMA HIMSELF NOT A CHRONIC "PLAGIARIST" ?

Plagiarism in the political world has gone beyond a one-man show. It is the order of the day and many GREAT and REPUTABLE politicians have been found wanting of purloined quotes and plagiarised speeches. Maybe it is because most Nigerians tend to pay less attention to the faux pas and flippets of these people,because of the lame fact that they are simply "oyinbos" ,so they are flawless. Well,not so is the case. Starting from President Obama himself,there are miscellaneous allegations and occurrences where the so called "President of the World" have been found guilty of plagiarism and reading the speech of other political and literary sages word for word. An example is therefore pertinent to cite;
-
- On February 2008, the Hillary Clinton campaign
motioned a grave allegation towards Barack Obama of "pathetic plagiarism" after the latter,Barrack Obama,delivered a speech that looked exactly like a
speech which was also given by his friend, the governor of Massachusetts Deval patrick.

Interestingly,Obama came out himself to agree to the allegations and said; "I should have given Deval the credit at the end of the speech. I am sorry" ... Just imagine!! We see the "invisible" president of the United state copying someone else's speech and even admitting himself that "I am sorry" . You can read more of it on many news platforms. Now, Does this prove Obama is ineffective or wholly incapable of functioning well as a president?...Do we hear of Americans insulting and battering their President and tagging in a "national embarrassment" for such happening? No!! It shows even the minority of them are smarter and more mature than the majority of us.

Plagiarism and obama are infact a replica of Siamese twins! Obama has been caught citing
well-known and famous speeches and documents including
those by Martin Luther King, John F Kennedy.. All of them infact,he lifted a whole segment of a speech delivered on June 2013 at Geneva, from the American declaration of independence written in 1778,a speech written before his grandfather was born.. And he subsequently agreed the allegations were true in the excuse of "The message matters most" .. Yet we don't see american ululating and throwing tantrums,spewing invectives and derogatory remarks at their president for such. They wouldn't call him "old fool" or "unlettered scumbags" ... It is precipitous those found in the act of turning themselves to "insult cannons" are only acting out of sheer ignorance and idiocy.
-

Or Have you forgotten? Melany Trump,the Wife of the US presidential candidate Donald trump,delivered a speech on July 18,Monday,2016,and this speech was found to be a lifted verbatim and wholly purloined speech which Mitchell Obama gave in 2008!! Yes,and she was asked about it.. She just motioned and concurred its true! The news is all over the net!! So,why is it that when it happens to our own president,you see Nigerians in their worst manner ever? Why do we make out incessant and silly comments on anything regarding the presidency? Why do we have no regard for anything that is our own? This is how we shall continue to lose cognisance both home and abroad because we lack regard for dometic phenomenons.. Only crackpots and bullish gnomes act like this. Yes,I am acutely disappointed.
-
It happened to President Buhari,and his Media aid,Garba Shehu admitted the fault came from the nitwits and dimwitted imps which the latter employed to compose the speech. The presidency should met out a sack punishment on the speech composer,since he has admitted he in fact,plagiarised the speech. So,I see no reason why the president should be turned to a dumpsack of mockery because something WHICH HAPPENS TO ALL GREAT WORLD LEADERS happend to him. Something that is endemic and has been the order of the day.

-----
. How many of such can we count? Is it the then
Delaware senator Joe Biden who ,in a presidential debate ,copied a finishing quote from Neil Kinnock's UK summit speech in 1987? Is it John Howard speech which was plagiarised by Owen Lippert? Or the January 15 incident that saw Ben Carson himself plagiarising "socialismsucks.net" post,as a tool in his republican speech? Many of them are out there,you just do a research.

--
Conclusion;
It is however no surprising,though,that we find such shameful behavior from our people. Go to nairaland and see how some Nigerians are making clowns and fools of themselves on this issue. But I implore us not to be an antithesis of progress. The grudges are there because of this issue of "economic recession" ,"inflation" and hardship faced by most nigerians . Now,when they hear anything Buhari,the next thing they do,is spew invectives and spit hyper-defaming acrimonious words. It shouldn't continue like this.

And I will advise,the Presidency to hire creative and competent speech writers,not those coochtangs and scumbags who can't even pen a simple speech,but copy from other peoples' work.

I rest my quill.

Plagiarism is a small issue for those with educationally deficient backgrounds. Ask your friends who school abroad the consequences of plagiarism to an academic career instead of exhibiting ignorance online
