Bubu4Sea: When will you people learn that oil is not necessarily a blessing but a curse. It corrupts governments and keeps incompetent and bad regimes in power. It also pollutes environments and fuels wars. Oil does not develop a nation, its planning and commitment to free market policies that does that. Just look at the middle east; UAE and Saudi Arabia and see how far those countries have almost completely diversified from oil meanwhile there African counterparts are still clamoring for which state has more oil. Some of the world's richest countries like Taiwan etc have no mineral resources but look how far and advanced they are. Now look at countries like Angola, Russia with all there oil and yet are a complete mess. One would think that Nigeria would learn from the chaos in Venezuela but nope they are still wallowing in there ignorance. May God grant us wisdom. 1 Like |

Heffalump:The Niger Deltan region has always been suffering due to air, water and land pollution. in this case, the government will suffer more, atleast, let the world know we are not cowards. true resource control or regional system of government is the only guarantee for total peace in the Niger Delta. |

Akpan107: You are inexperienced. OBJ has never tried Military action in Niger Delta. Most youth postings never had military experience or training, they have never witnessed military exercising one of their fundamental duties - protecting the nation against external/internal aggression. ODI invasion in the event of the killing of soldiers on peace keeping duties or protection of lives & goods in the area during Obj is never a military full action for your information. Arrest of Dokubo, Gani Adams & likes is not military action. I think the Boko Haram type of action will be a lesson for the future generation in the area . |

He who laughs last, laughs the best. There is surely a day for reckoning when the bad air blows no body any good. We are more concern with innocent, aged and children. The militants should know that in any step one takes in life should be weighed against both evil and good. The evil action should be discarded and discouraged in life while the good should be encouraged to flourish for the overall benefit of all including the so-called militants. While we condemn in very strong terms your unpatriotic cowardice and hypocritical activities of yourselves and your people. We urge you to stop destroying Nigeria’s assets and follow a good example of Avengers. Holocaust awaits those that invite it. You should be reminded that blowing up pipelines is not an act of bravery as even a toddler could equally do it Do you think you are doing anything “great” shame to you and your sponsors. Nemesis will soon catch up with you. A coward always run and hide in the face of any challenge just like what you did when the Nigerian Army conducted exercise Crocodile Smile. Why hiding and resurface now. There is no Nigerian who is happy with your animalistic behaviour, as it is only animals that destroys without knowing the consequences of their actions. Do not allow fellow citizens to rate you as animals |
