Boko Haram fighters are reported to have attacked a church in Borno state, killing 8 people, the attack took place on Sunday, September 18.

Following the reports, Nigerians have questioned the news, debating several issues regarding the latest Boko Haram attack. Question have also been raised as regards reports of security threats being over within the troubled northeastern region.

Below are thoughts of Nigerians over the recent attack by what many have come to term Nigeria’s most dreaded insurgent sect.

Prince Martins reacted to the situation saying: “The animals should kill themselves and leave the church of Jesus Christ alone….. Tomorrow the governor will still come out to make noise that his state is safer than Lagos and Abuja.”

Immaculate Osimach said: “No this must be joke of the day, if boko harams still attack people then which of it has been defeated? When will the truth ever be said, and the military script writers will rush with lies to cover up the attack.”

Uwakwe Micheal Ikechukwu was of the opinion that the Boko Haram war will linger a bit more, he said : “Northerners listen terrorism cannot be defeated, ask Americas they have try all means against iraq and afghans and others it did not work, your peoples don enter one chance, boko haram have come to stay, you cannot kill an ideology.”

Obiora Darlington Somtochukwu echoed Ikechukwu’s thoughts saying: “An ideology never dies. Boko Haram has come to stay.”

Olatoye Babatunde sarcastically said: “Na lie..they are already technically defeated with continuous bombardment, those ones that came are their ghost!!”

Okechukwu Ogu joined his voice to that of Obiora and Ikechukwu saying:

“You don’t defeat an ideology, but because most of you are black man from Africa that’s why we talk rubbish, Bokoharm has come to stay.”

Okechukwu Egbe asked: “Where is Lai Mohammed, to explain more as Nigeria troops technically defeated Buhari boys haram, lai Mohammed you are a Disgrace as information minister of Nigeria.”

Hyok Iliya But in real sense who is decieving who in this counrtry? in deed this a banana republic where calacuna is the order of the day.

A disappointed Solomon Ebenuwa said: “Everything Buhari used to win the election is now proven to be a fake, my Yoruba brothers take note. Father Mbaka take note, my truthful Hausa brothers take note,” he warned.

Hamidu Wali took a different look at the issue saying: “Cowards why don’t they come out and fight the army since they are claiming to be strong.”

Adekunle Festus was of the opinion that: “That is the new Boko Haram leader at work, he had promised to attack churches but don’t worry the army are ready for you guys.”
