Okupe's call is a clarion call which all Nigerians must hearken to. The situation the nation finds itself must be seen as a national disaster that must be collectively solved. This is not the time for rabid opposition politics but a time for nationalistic acts. The President must galvanize the whole nation behind him with the right policies and actions. There is no great nation that hasn't been through what we are going through. What makes their experience different from ours is the collective resolution of the crises.
galvanizing the nation is one thing buhari is not good at...rather he is good at balkanizing regions and people..

Buhari called Ngozi Okonjo Iweala tribes people and their neighbor 5%. He said that the region that gave him 5% vote will receive 5% attention.

Pls what do you expect her to do.?

Except Buhari makes a public apology, he should not think we the 5% will help him angry

Who has insults killed before?

Leave pride aside your tribe or region is not the only one that was ever insulted in Nigeria or you want to live up to the allegation of always playing the victim card.

Truth according to a friend:

Nigeria Economy was never strong. It was only revolving around corruption.

A man steals Millions of Naira. Uses part of it to build a house. He will buy bags of cements, building rods and other materials. Pay workers who work on the site. Give Millions to his girlfriend, who will go and buy Brazilian hair, buy expensive jewelleries and shoes. Spent Millions on a five star hotel to organize a birthday party and buy assorted drinks.

They were getting Billions of Naira from the scam called fuel subsidy. They will go and keep the money in the Banks, and the Banks were looking for fat deposits.
From the loots, fat offerings and tithes were paid. Millions were even paid to Religious leaders for prayers. The Economy was booming around corruption.

Then, a new Sheriff came to town with integrity. He says, it is not going to be business as usual.
TSA was introduced.
The war against corruption declared.
Most sources of ill gotten wealth cut off.
No more free cash for the boys.

And because we are a consuming Nation from ill gotten wealth, the so called strong Economy suddenly collapsed.
Some even suggested that corruption should be brought back.

We must now start to build a productive Economy based on genuine source of wealth.

This is the sorry state of Nigeria Economy today.
you are 100% correct with everything u said but go and look at the strongest economies and look at what drives them they are driven by money fluidity and what can make money fluid and easy to go around its either corruption and illegal businesses like drugs and organised crime even the Arab country and that seem to be reach from oil money and who are spending the money its the 1% corrupt elites and leader that are spending the money

We are past hating him. He's thrown into the trashbin policies of previous administration (which has Iweala in it), so we are waiting for him to get us outta this mess. Calling Iweala whom u guys have called unprintable names to come help clean up this mess only shows the lack of foresight of this govt

For 1 & 2 it's not the doing of this present govt . Nigeria is an import dependent nation so the pressure on the naira was Damn too much to the extent that we are thinking of devaluation of the naira. The major cause of is that our reserve went down seriously during the last administration & we didn't save for the rainy days.

3&4 ) No man is indispensable we don't have the money

(Nigeria ) we are spending then so it makes this two you

mentioned looks like hero. Am not saying they are not

Good but anyone would have performed with enough resources at their disposal

No my friend, performance is not a function of resources alone. How much resources did we have when NOI came the first time under OBJ? The success of any business is not only dependent on the amount of cash on ground but more on the inventiveness of the businessman. Go and complete with those Ibo boys at yaba selling cloth with large cash and see how they will defeat you

So in whatever way you look at it she is an Igbo woman and has not denied it before and I'm sure you're not her spokesperson. If Ngozi commits crime today you will suddenly realize she is an Igbo. You need to grow some sense. She is Igbo first, then delta. Delta also fought the war on biafra side. In fact the person whose actions began the whole crisis was from Delta. Back then before enemies like you started trying to divide and conquer the Igbo race, we were all one and state of origin mattered little.
So grow some sense in that cranium of yours, just a friendly advice.

It'll take 24 months to UNDO the consequences of Buhari's INTENTIONAL mismanagement that plunged Nigeria into Economic Recession.

24 months?

We are looking at 5-10 years. You think it's easy to bring back foriegn investors from where they have settled in Ghana, Kenya, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast and the rest?

What assurances do they have that in another 4 years time, Nigerians won't be filled with hate and tribalism of the South East/ South South and undo what has been done?

5-10 years, Bro. And that's if Nigeria has a good leader.

I don't agree with Okupe given the posture of this government since coming on board.

There was no inclusiveness, it was all about demonizing the people who just left and making excuses for themselves.

Everyday Oshomole and Lai Mohammed and other APC buffoons were calling okonjo and others thieves.

That's not a way to run a country. I said it severally, that if buhari was a president immediately after a civil war, is this how he's going to run the country?
