PogDab:
I don't want to write a long story of how my search for jobs wasn't successful but to write about my next step.

I am ready to do any job 24/7 for anybody or company, Yes Any kind of Job except Crime.

if it's a labourer kind of job then at 28, am physically fit and strong with no disability.

if it's an office job, I should also be considered with my B.Sc in Geography and Regional Planning and my Nysc certificate.

I can also be useful somewhere with my sound knowledge of basic computer operations.

Am presently based in Makurdi, so if you want to hire me here the better cos I will be able to take care of my transport and feeding for the entire 6months since I stay in the family house. but I can still relocate to any state in Nigeria if my accommodation and feeding will be taken care of for the 6months.

I know Nairalanders will make fun of me with their trademark comments, but I don't care anymore cos am about to start a new chapter of my life, that's why I have to deactivate and create a new account.

You can contact me with this for now: gloandgold10@gmail.com

If you can relocate to lagos and have somewhere to stay then you can work with me on a project . I can't guarantee and accommodation . You can always call me and let's talk more about it on 08058571454

Hello Sir. I do not want to take this opportunity from him but if it turns out that he cannot relocate to Lagos I'll like to take the offer. I also have a degree but circumstances beyond my control coupled with the Nigerian factor are preventing me from taking the next step in my field of study. I just need a short-term project that will yield some money. I am in Lagos and I am available immediately. I await your reply. Thank you.

If u r serious then go to any construction site around you and do serving Mason, u will make 2.5k daily except u want to do it free too.
Go and learn a skill or go to ur village and farm
It's a new session go look for teaching job
Go and learn to drive bus or keke n look for someone to drive for on hire purchase
Sir, all what you suggested are good but not easy. Before you are allowed to work in a construction site here you have to belong to a certain group or reside in the area the site is situated before the youth may consider you not even the engineer. I've been learning tailoring but was forced to stop by my master. I have also requested for a land in my hometown still waiting for their response cos it's a family land. I have sent my cv to schools in my neighbourhood still waiting for their call. I would have love to learn how to drive but it will cost me money to enrol in a driving school.

Hint
Snap your self with plycard include ur number and get offer in a jiffy.. That is if you are serious.
tnx, I will give it a thought.

Your location determines your allocation .You need to relocate to Lagos ,Abuja or PH .Above all change your mindset for " any job" .You have a degree think inwardly what you can do .In ability to think deeply has turn many to job seekers when there is no job available .
that's true, Location matters a lot. I have considered relocating but some factors are hindering my movement for now.

MaziOmenuko:
This can only come from a broken man, feel so sorry for you, wish there was a way I could help.
Pls don't work for anyone for free. I know your mindset wi be that you will be retained after 6 months, it doesn't work that way. The best way for you is to learn a handiwork: welding, shoemaking, tailoring, mechanic or driving.
Good luck bro.
Sir, you understand me very well. Actually my decision to work for free was an advice from a friend. Am into tailoring but had to stop.

Enangson:
Bro I like your courage, cos some people in your shoe are contemplating suicide.
I wish Buhari or his aide will read this... But don't worry I will show you love this weekend when Akinalabi pays.
suicide will never be an option for me cos I know there's hope, my condition is temporary just waiting for an opportunity.

I wish you luck in what you do.

at a time I feel frustrated like you. but I went for graphics design Training and today am on my own.

my sample work are on Instagram.com/pillarsgraphics.

Well thought out. You can work with your certificate without pay. You have a lot to gain; experience, new connections and a chance to be retained.
But never ever do menial jobs for free, this is no way to sell yourself, you'll only be used. Rather than do menial freely, go and learn a trade/skill/vocation. (you know what I mean).
thanks for the advice, experience is what I want to gain. And a chance to prove my worth and ability to anyone that hire me. Am only considering menial jobs just to survive for now.

Sun19:
We nigerian nawa for una oh,why cnt we help our fellow man?he posted this, and i believe someone shud have a contact or connection to help,if na woman post this, believe me,with few hours,we same men commenting here will help her immdeiately.pls lets try to improve.am also a job seeker, had it been am in a position to help.man.believe me,i would aid you cos i knw wat it feels to be with out a job,and lack of finance to survive.expecially wen u hav less means to survive.
Thank you sir for your concern and understanding, wishing you success in your search for job.
missbrigs:
How can u do menial jobs for free except u are under apprenticeship.
Well, menial jobs is just to have what to eat daily while apprenticeship is what am actually looking for.

Tkayhandsome:
Look for teaching job my guy. It is everywhere with backyard schools springing up everyday. Where I teach, the pay is less than 25k; not enough for a graduate of Banking but watin man go do? My guy u be man. No sitton for house ooo. Things go better na small small.
I have applied to schools in my neighbourhood still waiting for their feedback.

Thank you sir, but how I wish it's Abuja or Port Harcourt. But I will still try to talk to few people I know in Lagos if they will accommodate me for some time. I will call you and give you their response.

pogdab, I hope you are for real. we don't know who to trust these days especially when money is involved.
Re: . by MaziOmenuko: 12:07am On Sep 30, 2016
Pogdab, we have seen and heard a lot of Calabar gist in this site; from humbledbyfaith to glomoured to euchaaria and others, their gist is always the same; a first sympathetic thread to wail and win hearts and another update to solicite for help albeit, with frudulent intentions. Some of us that may have a little help to offer are begining to be paranoid and a little less concerned with such threads. I am not saying yours has the same intentions, but once beaten is always 2x shy.

3,700 isn't too big a cash that you can't raise from friends and well wishers offline, I will advise that you reach out to them. A whole lot of bad eggs have done damage both to this site and many other online communities.
All the same, I wish you well in your endeavours.

Sir, I understand all your fears about recent trend on Nairaland which is true and I happen to be paying the price now for their sins. But I wish I could prove my sincerity to you all, I don't mind uploading scan copies of my original B.Sc and Nysc certificate here or send PM to anyone who cares or any other information you may require that will be convincing enough for you. It took me so much courage to come online with my full info not minding the shame simply because I've seek help elsewhere but to no avail and this was my last option before I draw conclusion that am living under a curse. I know how things are hard for everyone that's why I ask for transport fare despite the fact that I will still have other basic needs to take care of over there.

But all is well, I believe in destiny. Thank you for your suggestions and advice so far.
