That 'lecturer' interview was hillarious , I mean how can a University have only 50 students. I doubt he's a lecturer but if he's one I pity his students because he'll never impact any good knowledge into them. Watch out for the link later on youtube, this program is really exposing a lot of visa applicants and several loop holes they have exploited in the past |

by the way i think the Ukranian girl that was arrested really beat my imagination, she stood her ground not to take the immigration officials to her home simply to protect her friend who are also illegal and might be arrested, honestly, that girl's courage is unbelievable. |

In the second episode yesterday, there was a Naija guy in Glasgow who was caught with an S.A. passport in his house. He claimed it was not his and the picture in it was not him. The immigration lady told him that she can see the same mark on his face in the picture in the passport and he was still denying it. He was eventually jailed for 4 months for the fake passport. That Ukranian girl was very bold not to have taken them to her house, else about 8 people would have been deported. The "Babcock lecturer" was very dumb. He responded that there were 50 people in the university!!! The Overstayer who returned to naija with his wife was very lucky. He told the truth and was eventually given the visa to go back to the UK. The way the interview was going, I sensed that he will be given |

But those guys are mean o. Of all the beautiful places in Lagos they can only find the slums to showcase Lagos. So that others will think all Nigerians are so poor, they live on top of water. No good o! |

tunnytox: so the whole of nigeria looks like lekki and abuja abi - abeg go ad sit down. why are we lying to ourselves. if you cut nigeria into 100 is it not still 95% bad. yes there are run down areas in the west but at least people have a choice of living in the bad areas. |
Re: 'UK Border Force' On Sky1 by tunnytox(m): 1:31pm On Oct 14, 2009 |
@redsky1 That's my own opinion, i have right to my opinion and so do you, all Nigerian don't look like Lekki and Abuja i agree but how do you come about with your 95% bad areas?, can you provide any proof? |
Re: 'UK Border Force' On Sky1 by redsky1: 1:37pm On Oct 14, 2009 |
my bad make that 80% but come on now - is it right that a country with the wealth Nigeria has still has people suffering from diseases that have all but been eradicated in the developed world - such as cholera anyway we still have a long way to go and if its so great why are those people in the programme lying thru their nose to leave naija. |
Re: 'UK Border Force' On Sky1 by tunnytox(m): 1:57pm On Oct 14, 2009 |
to be honest the present Nigerian situation is a major source of concern, the desperation of Nigerians to leave at all cost is very shameful. I can't blame anyone who decided to leave at least I was not born in Britain too I'm an immigrant here as well but it will do a lot to our reputation if we try to do things right. What many people lack is information, a lot of ppl still believe you need to have a relative abroad before you can get a visa while many still believe you need to know someone who also know someone in the embassy for you to get a visa. If ppl can take time to gather information and be well prepared getting a visa might not be that difficult (except may be USA) baring in mind that travelling abroad is not really meant for everyone. Its a shame that our government let Nigerian economy and infrastructures to deteriorate to this level i remember very well in the 80's if you tell ppl that you are travelling abroad they wil think you are going to suffer but not anymore. |
