hy guys i have have a laptop which has been giving me problems recently. It started when i installed windows 10 my PC does not connect to hotspot but it detects the network i can also browse with my phone using USB tethering and i also download drivers for my PC but still no progress. and i thought maybe the OS is not supported so i created a dual boot of Windows 7 and 10 i.e i can now revert to my factory Os so i downloaded and installed the WiFi drivers but i am still facing the same issue.

model: CQ56 Notebook pc
ram:2gb
OS: DUAL BOOT :windows 7 32 bit windows 10 64 bit.
FYI i removed the windows 10 completely but still no progress so i returned it to dual boot

Hello, this is a normal problem with people who use Windows 10. Some computers/hardware don't support Wireless/Wi-fi on Windows 7, so you will need to either downgrade or use a clean OS with it. As there may already be an easy and existing solution for this that I am not aware of.

Its driver problem, get driverpack 13 or 12 for window7 while 14 or 15 should work for window10

i juste searched it on google and it was up too 4.5gb in size. my question is is there any compressed version or online version that's not more than 1gb and can i also get a disk for it??

downloaded an online driver pack solution searched for all drivers updated them all but still not connecting. it detects the WiFi but doesn't connect. when i run the troubleshooting it says problem with adapter or access point.
