My borehole (for private home use) has enough water but the quality is not too good. It is slightly smelly and comes out with a slight colouration. It has stained all my toilet and kitchen equipment.

However, if I pump into a dedicated tank and left untouched for like a month, it comes out perfectly without odour or any colour.

I sincerely seek your suggestions on the best water treatment method or plant to procure to resolve this. For many reasons I don't want to do another borehole, it is better to treat the existing one.
